Published in 2004, Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence in Nigeria is a well-researched book, deeply and mainly explaining the enacting part of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CFRN), 1999. A comparative analysis has also been done, not only between the CFRN 1999 and it two precursors – the CFRN 1979 and the CFRN 1989 – but also between the CFRN 1999 and other Constitutions, like the Constitutions of the United States, Canada, Australia, India, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Sierra-Leone, etc. This comparative analysis is laced richly with decisions from those countries on the relevant provisions of those countries’ Constitutions.
